LAANC (Low Altitude Authorization and Notification Capability) is the FAA system that grants drone pilots near-real-time authorization to fly in controlled airspace below approved altitudes. Any flight within a controlled airspace grid requires LAANC approval before takeoff. Yes, we handle all LAANC authorizations as part of our pre-flight planning process. Clients never need to navigate FAA systems themselves.
