Drone exterior cleaning uses specialized cleaning drones equipped with pressurized water systems and soft-wash attachments to clean building exteriors - windows, facades, solar panels, and rooftops - without scaffolding, rope access, or workers working at height. VSI Aerial's cleaning drones can reach the highest points of most commercial buildings and access difficult angles that traditional window cleaning crews cannot. This approach is particularly valuable for buildings without fall protection anchors, high-rises, and facilities with irregular architecture.

This is actually one of the strongest use cases for drone cleaning. Traditional rope access window cleaning legally requires certified anchor points on the building. Many older buildings and architecturally complex structures simply don't have them - which means standard window cleaning crews either can't legally do the work, or retrofitting anchors becomes a significant additional expense. Drone cleaning has no such requirement. The aircraft approaches the building from the air, meaning there is no dependency on fall protection infrastructure at all.
